Anonymous asked: hey, I'd just like to say (in stark contrast to the previous ask haha) that I think you are helpful, eloquent and I love the fact that you write honestly about this and the way you deal so succinctly with the 'haters' as such! I was wondering what your thoughts were on the more modern, 'scene queen' groupies such as jac vanek, audrey kitching, miss hannabeth etc? they seem to be the natural successors to the flamboyant GTOs etc of the 60s and 70s, if more pop-punk/'scene' based, rather than rock
Thank you!
I’m supportive of anyone who’s passionate about music and wants to support it and the people that make it. I think every music scene regardless of it’s popularity has it’s own well knowns but they are associated with a very popular scene right now, much like how the GTOs were involved on the sunset strip in the 60’s and 70’s. They’re really not much different to any other groupie, they’ve just made a name for themselves doing it! Power to them, Rock N Roll!
